The core target of WP1 is to develop and produce the new high-performance hybrid thermoplastic material with multifunctional capabilities, by means of an automated prototype equipment. The activities of WP1 involve:
i. Automated Prototype Equipment study and Release of the Technical Specification.
ii. Prototype Equipment design, construction and acceptance at NOVOTECH premises.
iii. Procurement of thermoplastic prepreg material and auxiliary materials to use for production.
iv. Hybrid Material fabrication , development, testing and implementation.
Several tests on material and manufacturing process will be carried out by CETMA, NOVOTECH and LEONARDO.
