Within this work package the preliminary and detailed design of the technology demonstrators will be performed. Also, an automated and integrated procedure finalized to prediction of the residual strength of damaged composite elements will be developed. CAD drawings and stress reports will be produced and will be used for the advanced modelling (model integration).
The following tasks will be implemented in the frame of this WP :
i. Identification of the technology demonstrators and test matrix definition and consolidation.
ii. Preliminary as well as detailed design of the demonstrators at all levels (from coupon to final representative demonstrators).
iii. Development of a tailored Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) system, which will be used for monitoring the damage tolerance of the produced components.
