This WP is dedicated at the consolidation of the manufacturing processes developed and integrated during the project. In more detail WP6 is devoted to fully demonstrate the advantages obtained by developing the new multifunctional hybrid thermoplastic material through the manufacturing of several significant demonstrators. Technological demonstrators will be produced following the design requirements provided in WP2 and the optimized parameters as set in WP3. The fabrication process will be achieved by integrating an advanced Out of Autoclave Continuous chain of manufacturing processes as: Automated Fiber Placement In-Situ Consolidation (AFP-ISC) process, Continuous Compression Moulding process and Induction Welding (IW) process for assembling the parts. The quality of the parts produced will be evaluated both via Visual Inspection and Non-Destructive Investigations (NDIs). After the manufacturing phase, the demonstrators will be subjected to various tests and a final optimization of the products will occur taking into account the results of WP7.
